Building The Warrior Walker Website: How It All Started

I first came across Paul Harris on my Instagram feed when he was only three days into his very first lap around the UK. He was just leaving Dorset, carrying nothing but his pack, his mission and a story that instantly pulled me in. I wanted to learn more about who he was, why he was walking the entire coastline of Britain and what had driven him to take on something so huge. The problem was, there wasn’t much online about him at all.
So I reached out.
I dropped him a message, told him I’d been following his journey and offered to help him build a proper online presence. From the very first conversation, we clicked. Paul is a solid bloke with a big heart, and we got on like a house on fire. I knew straight away that I wanted to support him in any way I could.
Before a single page was designed, I sat and listened to his story. His time in the Royal Marines. His appearance on Channel 4’s Shipwrecked. His move to Thailand where he taught in a kindergarten. And of course, the moment he decided to walk around the entire UK coastline to raise money and awareness for causes that mattered to him.
The website needed to reflect all of that. It had to tell people who he was, why he walked and what he was trying to achieve. It also needed to help his growing audience follow his progress, donate directly to him, or support the charities he cared about. By the time he completed his first lap, people had a place where they could join the journey. By the time he completed his second lap, the site had become a proper home for everything he had achieved.
To this day, I still manage the site and keep it updated with his latest adventures. Paul has now finished writing his first book, due out in May 2026, and you can even pre-order it through the website.
It’s been a privilege to support him from those early days in Dorset all the way to where he is now. His story continues to grow, and I’m proud to play a small part in helping others discover it.
